Introduction:

Over time, SSV’s Midnight Oil will be interviewing the unsung master growers that very few know about. The ones we watch day in and day out, the ones who have proven their style and methods work, and consistently show results.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity and adventure that today brings! 🤙 “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass… it’s learning to dance in the rain”

Why Grayway?

After 23 years in business, I’ve learned something. Some people just reek of success. From our first conversation, I knew this dude had it going on. I can smell it a mile away, and Gray just had that to him. I tend to gravitate towards these people because they intrigue me. It’s just a feeling I get, and when diving deeper into someone that has that “thing” most don’t, I’m right 100% of the time.

Part one: Getting to know Grayway

Interview:

B @SSV: Gray, thank you so much for meeting with me. I know you’re a busy man with a wonderful family, so I won’t keep you long.

Q? Your better half and yourself are very successful. What inspires and motivates you to excel in your professional and personal life?

Grayway Answer:

Honestly, My wife. I was a wondering soul before she found me. She is my center. Everything I do, every decision I make is rooted in her. I strive to make her dreams come true.. that’s my drive.

B @SSV:

Can you share any insights or experiences that have contributed to your personal growth and development that could inspire readers just starting out in the game of life?

Grayway’s Answer:

Yea.. and obviously this isn’t mine.. Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. Go through life with an attitude of gratitude but don’t take any shit or allow yourself to be used or tred upon.

B @SSV:

A guy on X told me I was jealous because I couldn’t grow like him. I laughed. The only competition I’m in is with myself. I read your post one time saying you’re taking the helicopter out. This brings me to ask, do you have a helicopter? I must admit, that makes me jealous. Lol

Grayway’s Answer:

Lol.. No. I do not own a helicopter, however, I am fortunate enough to know a couple of people that own one.  I could not agree more with you about competition.. as one of my good friends, Lio here on X  likes to say, “Your opinion of me is none of my business!”

B @SSV:

Was your first time smoking weed a memorable experience? If so, at what age did you try it, and do you remember the strain.

Grayway’s Answer:

Yep.. still remember it.. me & my homie pinched my dads bag and made a makeshift bowl out of a PBR can. No clue what it was.. harsh lol.

Part 2 – Grow: Q & A

Drops: 1-22

Outro to Part 1:

Our Blog isn’t for the mainstream breeders with their $100,000 shooting budgets, $35,000 Hasselblad cameras, and $1,000,000 state-of-the-art grow warehouses. Don’t get it twisted; I’m not opposed to that. I just have the $1 budget Mrs. B. gave me, an S22 Galaxy that’s getting paid off this year, and two handmade rooms with tents in an old cabin. This is a place of learning for new and experienced growers to try and use techniques in real-life environments. Most important, get to know the Masters that are not propped up my mainstream publications for a hefty price..

With that said, Thank you so much for everything you do for the Socal Seed Vault Family
